Steven Arthur Penland                    (1936 - 2020)
Steven 'Steve' Arthur Penland passed away at his home in Taylors, South Carolina on 13  January 2020.  He was born October 8, 1936 in Greer, South Carolina.  Steve was retired    and was a member of Parisville Baptist Church.  He was predeceased by his wife of 14  years, Brenda Colleen (Hatfield) Penland, his daughter Stephanie Ellen Penland, his mother Mildred Edge Penland, his father O'Dell Elmore Penland, and sister Patricia Kilgo.  Survivors include his daughter Kathy Younginer, granddaughter Delainey Reid Penland, and nephew Kevin (Tiffany) Kilgo & two daughters.

 Angela May Penland                      (1962 - 2020)
 Osborn, Missouri.....Angela May Penland, 57, of Osborn, passed away March 21, 2020.     She was born on November 19, 1962, in St. Joseph, to Ray and Clara May (Hahn) Sheffler.   Angela was preceded in death by her mother.  Survivors include her husband Timothy   Penland, of the home, three daughters;  Sonya (Patrick) Fisher of Liberty, Missouri, Erin   (Josh) Shaw of Peculiar, Missouri, and Beth (Chris) Padgett of Cameron, Missouri; father,   Ray Sheffler of St. Joseph; grandchildren:  Colton, Megan, Payton, Ethan, Sophia,   Thatcher, Lelouch, Raiden, and Killiam: one great-grandchild, Carrington; a brother, Tom   (Sue) Sheffler, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret Annette Ballew Penland        (1942 - 2020)
Margaret Annette (Momma Net) Penland, 77, of Statesville, passed away on Friday,    February 2020 at her home after a long period of declining health.  Born November 23,  1942 in Buncombe County, North Carolina.  She was a daughter of the late Burlen Ballew  and Mildred Pansy Williams Ballew.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in  death by brothers, Richard, Mack, Everette and Frank Ballew and sisters, Shirley Scott,  Patricia Allison and Ruth Penley.  She married Donald McCrackin Penland, (Dad-O) on  October 19, 1963, who also preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children, Sonya  P. Trivette (Randy) of Statesville and Donald Lee Penland (Jon) of Hickory, grandchildren:  Zachery Trivette (Sarah) of Statesville, Savannah T. Powers (Justin) of Harmony and  Donald Leland Burns-Penland of Hickory, great grandchildren:  Jase Everette Powers of  Harmony and Chase & Chance Dolan of Statesville along with her brothers, Anthony  (Patty) and David Ballew all of Asheville.

Charles "Ronny" Penland                       (1945 - 2020)
Charles "Ronny" Penland, 74, husband of Teresa Henderson Penland of Union, passed away, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Penland was born August 26, 1945 in Laurens, a son of the late Charles Penland and Lura Prather Penland.  He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts and had attended Limestone College.  He was retired from Duke Energy at the Catawba Nuclear Station, and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served from 1963 to 1966.  Ronny was a charter member of The New Life Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon and served on several church committees.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ball Prather, who was an important influence in his life.  Surviving, in addition to his wife are three brothers, Ryan Penland of Simpsonville, David Penland and wife Anne of Hickory, NC and Glenn Penland of Simpsonville:  a brother-in-law Mike Henderson of Union, a sister-in-law, Pam Elliott and husband Stanley of Union:  and a number of nieces and nephews.
